Fall Children’s Books The Whole Family Will Love

Fall Children’s Books The Whole Family Will Love

There is just something about fall. The way the temperature lowers, the look of the leaves changing, the perfect candle scents, comfy clothes, pumpkins, pumpkins, and more pumpkins! It’s such a special time of the year and such a fun time to make memories and start traditions with your family.

If you looking for quick and easy bonding time, reading books to your child is the way to go.

This can be done in the morning when they wake up and they are still snuggly, during meals, playtime, before nap time, before bedtime, there literally isn’t a wrong time to read to your child. The more you do it, the more it becomes a routine. A routine that you all look forward to happening.

When I was little I had specific books I wanted read to me at certain times of the year. For example, who wants to hear the Night Before Christmas in June? I sure didn’t.

As your child gets older, you might read a certain book as an opening to an activity. Maybe you read The Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown before the pumpkin patch and before carving pumpkins. You might read The Haunted Ghoul Bus the night before your child’s Halloween Party at school. Whatever you choose to do, these books become part of their memories and part of their lives.

If you read my about me page you know my beautiful papa passed away 2 years ago. So many of my memories as a kid are of him reading me books before bed. These are memories I will cherish forever. These are memories I want to have with my son and I want you to be able to have with your children.

Reading isn’t just about brain development, it’s about bonding, laughing, and enjoying each others company. It’s about making memories that will last a lifetime.

I know I’m Halloween obsessed over here but I understand not everyone celebrates it but that doesn’t mean there aren’t hundreds of Fall Books out there for you to enjoy with your family! Below are a list of our absolute favorites! Enjoy!
